Talent Advancement

Gain one ancestry talent at levels 1, 5, 9, 13, and 17.

Ability Scores

Ability-score increases come from Background only:

  • +2 to one listed ability and +1 to a different listed ability; or
  • +1 to all three listed abilities.

Common Formulas

Ancestry Save DC: 8 + proficiency bonus + named ability modifier

Once per long rest: One use, all uses return after a long rest.

Proficiency-bonus uses per long rest: Uses equal proficiency bonus, all uses return after a long rest.

Versatile Heritage

Aasimar, Tiefling, and Mixed Heritage replace the heritage of a base ancestry. They do not replace or duplicate the ancestry chassis.
